Georgie & Dane

“The Adventure Package”

Love Story

One fateful winter night, Georgie and Dane met at an Irish Pub

While it was cold and gloomy outside, the pub was lit up with their laughter, conversation and palpable chemistry. That one winter night turned into many more nights of love, friendship and adventure. Now, Georgie and Dane have been together for 10 years, and their light and spark are as electric as ever. These two have the kind of connection that not everyone has the privilege to experience, the kind that leaves you breathless, the kind that lasts a lifetime. After those years of paving the road to forever, they’ve decided to pay homage to that magical winter night at the pub and have the most romantic winter elopement in Queenstown.

Accommodation: Trelawn
Ceremony: Trelawn Garden
Couple’s Photos: Roundhill and Bayonet Peak

On the day

Georgie and Dane were getting ready when Tom met them at Trelawn Place for photos. It was a nice, sunny day and the venue was breathtaking, with Shotover River glistening in the sunlight and gorgeous Coronet Peak in the background. Georgie’s auntie and uncle were there to celebrate with the couple, which made the day even more merry and fun. After getting ready, with Liv King as Georgie’s makeup artist, she went down the beautiful lawn out of the cottage for First Look photos. Then, they walked together, hand in hand, to the ceremony spot overlooking the river where the couple professed their love with handwritten vows (always so romantic!).

After the ceremony, the family posed for photos with the newlyweds and before we went to Heliworks. It was partly cloudy that day, which is our favourite weather because it’s the perfect light to capture amazing photos. We flew to Roundhill, which was nice and dry without too much snow and we got to see Cecil Peak, Bayonet Peak, The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu all in one place. Roundhill is such an amazing location since it offers a 360 view of Queenstown’s most famous spots and you can’t see the town below, just nature and wilderness which is great for photos. It was quite windy that day as well, which made Georgie’s dress even more gorgeous. From Roundhill, everyone then flew to Bayonet Peak for their second location. The couple popped champagne and had a great time while Tom took photos of them with The Remarkables in the background.

After the heli adventure, everyone flew back down to Trelawn for a cake-cutting and a nice picnic. It was a wildly romantic day, and we’re ecstatic that Georgie and Dane enjoyed their elopement so much.

Cheers to the newlyweds!
