A limited number of dates each season
We take on a limited number of elopements each year to keep every experience personal and intentional.
Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, and popular dates can fill quickly.
If your date is available, we’re happy to hold it for 7 days while you decide.
How do we Secure our date?
How far in advance can we book?
We take bookings up to 12 months in advance - but we also love a spontaneous celebration with just a week or two notice. As soon as you know your preferred wedding date (or even just a rough time frame), reach out. Our calendar fills quickly and we'd love to lock in your day.
We have no idea which package to go for but we LOVE your work. Where do we go from here?
A 30% non-refundable booking fee reserves your day in our schedule. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your elopement, giving you peace of mind as your plans fall into place.
Our amazing planner Ella can give you some handy pointers to work out the best package for you and how to make your elopement extra special. If you’re worried someone else might take your preferred date, why not lock in the adventure package to get started and upgrade down the track if you change your mind?
Can we choose our vendors?
Yes.
Once your date is booked, we’ll send you a curated shortlist of available celebrants and hair + makeup artists so you can choose the ones that feel right for your day.
If there’s someone specific you already have in mind, just let Ella, our planner, know and we’ll do our best to bring them in for you.
How many photos will we receive with the Adventure Package?
How much time do we have with the Adventure Package ?
The Adventure package includes up to 4 hours of coverage, designed to give you time for your vows, relaxed moments, and a few extra locations along the way.
Can we visit more than one location during the Adventure package?
150+ edited images conveniently delivered to an online gallery ready for you to print, download and share.
Yes.
The extra time in the Adventure package allows you to visit up to two helicopter locations, or one helicopter and one ground location, or two ground locations.
It’s designed to give your day more movement, variety, and depth so it feels like a full experience, not just a single stop.
How many photos will we receive with the Luxe Package?
How is the luxe package different from the other packages ?
The Luxe package is designed to feel like a full elopement experience.
With up to 6 hours, there’s space for getting ready, your vows, extra locations, and a slower, more intentional flow. It also aincludes added elements like hair and makeup, a wedding car, and a styled picnic so the day feels complete from start to finish.
How many locations can we include with the Luxe Package?
You’ll receive 200+ beautifully edited images delivered in an online gallery, ready to download, share, and print as you wish.
The Luxe package allows enough time for up to 3 locations, or you can start with getting ready coverage at your hotel or Airbnb before heading out.
It’s also a great fit for weddings with guests, giving space for group photos, relaxed moments together, and even a dinner or styled reception if you’re continuing the celebration.
Do you also offer videography?
Can you also take care of our wedding album?
Yes. We offer wedding film add-ons so your day is captured in motion as well as stills.

Videography with one of our trusted filmmakers starts from $3,700 NZD.
We love designing fine art wedding albums because it’s where your story finally becomes something you can hold, not just scroll past.
These are crafted as heirloom pieces, so your images live somewhere, rather than sitting forgotten in a cloud or on a USB you never open again.
You can choose from luxe leather or soft linen finishes, designed to feel timeless in your hands. $1,600 NZD.
Can we include a helicopter flight in our day?
Yes, you can add a helicopter flight to any elopement package.
80% of couples choose it for the experience, not just the transport, because it turns the day into something cinematic and unforgettable.
Flights start from $1770 NZD.
What if we’d love to include evening activities such as dinner, speeches and the first dance in our elopement?
Our Luxe package is best for couples with guests, a reception, or a shared dinner. It includes up to 6 hours of coverage.
What if it rains the day of our elopement?
What if we are awkward in front of the camera?
Moody, overcast weather is actually one of our favourite conditions to shoot in. The clouds add depth, drama, and a really cinematic feel to your photos.
If the weather is genuinely unsafe or prevents us from carrying out your plans, we’ll either reschedule or secure a wet weather venue for you if you’re having a ceremony with guests.
You wouldn’t be the first couple to feel that way.
It’s completely normal to feel a little unsure at the start, but it fades quickly. Most couples forget the camera is even there once we get going, and we guide you gently so nothing ever feels forced or unnatural.
Is transport included with my elopement?
Each Lost in Love elopement includes transport for you (the couple) and up to two guests. We’ll collect you from your hotel or Airbnb in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle so you can relax into your day.
If you are bringing young children, you’ll need to arrange your own transport with the appropriate car seats so everyone travels safely and comfortably.
What if we want to invite guests?
That’s absolutely fine. We can include up to 20 guests at no additional cost.
We’ll suggest locations that work beautifully with groups, and if you’re considering a helicopter element, we can accommodate up to 20 guests across 4 machines.
Packages with more time, like our Luxe experience, tend to work best with guests as they allow space for group moments, photos, and a more relaxed flow to the day.
When will we receive our video & images?
Why does it take a few weeks for us to receive our photos?
Expect your edited images in a shiny online gallery ready for you to download, print and share within 6-8 weeks after your BIG DAY. Your wedding video will be with you in 8-10 weeks. It will be worth the wait we promise!
As soon as your photographer has captured your elopement on camera, they will hand over the SD cards to our expert in-house editor to work their magic. Editing involves picking the BEST photos for the final gallery and post-processing them so they REALLY shine. That includes any colour corrections, brightness optimisation and contrast adjustments in line our signature editing style. The photos you’ll receive show you off in your natural beauty. But if you happen to wake up with a spot on your chin, we’ll totally touch it up.
Can we get our hands on the remaining unedited shots?
Nope, sorry. So much of the magic that makes up an image happens in the digital equivalent of the darkroom (known as Lightroom) and it’s also how we’ll create images that match our signature style. Funnily enough, it’s our legal obligation to deliver images representative of the work you see on our website. And unedited images look rubbish anyway!
