Trevor & Laura
“The Adventure Package”
+ Film & add-ons
Love Story
Trevor and Laura’s love story began with a bit of matchmaking magic. Laura’s uni friend, Emily, knew these two were destined for each other. Trusting her instincts she introduced them, and she was absolutely right! Their first date was a laid-back dinner in Gold Coast. It was a night filled with laughter, playful pranks, and a realisation that they had found something truly special.
It didn’t take long for them to make things official. They discovered a shared passion for life, similar dreams for the future, and an admiration for each other’s character and faith. As a couple, Trevor and Laura are always on the move. They love to explore, exercise, surf, and travel. If there’s a new adventure to be had, you can bet they’ll be right there, diving in headfirst. Whether it’s hiking, road trips, or learning something new together, they embrace every moment with a sense of fun
But now, they have geared up for their biggest adventure yet: eloping to the stunning landscapes of New Zealand. They envisioned a destination ceremony unlike any other, just the two of them and their closest friends, surrounded by unmatched beauty. Their dream elopement in Queenstown!

On the day
Tom met with Trevor and Laura for some getting-ready shots at the Hilton Hotel on the day of their elopement. They had a few friends staying with them to help them get ready, so it was a fun, full house with all their closest people to celebrate their love with them. After a few final shots of Trevor and Laura getting ready, we’re off to the helicopter hangar. The couple flew in separate helicopters up to The Ledge in Cecil Peak. Tom and Caleb (our videographer for the day) went with Trevor and the boys, and once they landed, set up everything for the couple’s first look. Facing away from the landing zone, Trevor waited for Laura to come down to see him, and not having seen her the whole day, he was so excited.
After their first look, commenced the ceremony. The couple had both photo and film coverage booked so we had the pleasure to capture all the special moments of their dream elopement in motion too. After popping some champagne and a few amazing photos at the Ledge, their friends all went back to the heli and flew back down, while Tom and Caleb together with the couple flew to Coromandel Peak for more photos.
“The view was amazing, the light was soft and beautiful, and the couple looked amazing.” – Tom
The couple were raving about how everything was going wonderfully and how amazing of a time they were having, which made the team absolutely excited. After an hour of shooting and admiring the amazing views, we flew back down to Queenstown from Wanaka. Tom drove the couple back to their reception at Eichardt’s Grill and Bar to end the night with good food and amazing conversations. Trevor even sent Tom photos from their super fun night!
