Gemma & Gav
“The Adventure Package”
Love Story
Love is easy when you’ve found the one…
Gemma and Gav’s whirlwind romance started over Russian-themed cocktails at a bar in Wellington. They got to chatting while waiting in line for said cocktails and after a fun night, they started dating. These two have had one heck of an adventure. From moving in together in the UK and having their first child, Archie, to moving back to New Zealand and having their second son, Tristan within a year. Their little family now lives in a house of their own, having fun little adventures with their two boys, spending time at the beach, going on walks and fishing with their grandpa.
Gemma and Gav always had a strong foundation of friendship and support. We absolutely believe that when you find the one, it’s easy to make life-altering decisions because when you’re doing it with someone you love, it’s easy to take a leap of faith and just go for it. Like flying down to the South Island for a super fun elopement getaway!

On the day
Gemma and Gav flew down from Wellington with their two adorable little boys for their Queenstown elopement. They stayed at their friend’s holiday home in Frankton Road, where they got ready for an adventure-filled day. Gav got the boys ready with matching suits, which was so cute! We then did a “First Look” with the whole family on the balcony overlooking gorgeous views and after that Gemma and Gav pinned little matching buttonholes to the boys, which matched Gemma’s bouquet.
We then drove to Jacks Point where we met their celebrant, Sarah Noble, for a beautiful ceremony. After saying their I do’s, we had the whole family pose with an old school Land Rover that Gav rented out. The car was a gorgeous blue colour, which added such a nice pop to the already glorious views in Jackspoint. Gav grew up fixing up Land Rovers and he absolutely loves them! Everyone had a lot of fun when he took it for a wee drive.
After that, we all flew up to Cecil Peak and we laid out a nice picnic and had cake, as the boys enjoyed their sandwiches and Mum and Dad popped champagne to celebrate their south island elopement. 🙂
Cheers to Gemma & Gav!
