Love Story

Sophie and Hannah first met at work...

After months of being co-workers who were “just nice to each other”, these two finally made it official. Sophie and Hannah are self-confessed adventurous homebodies, enjoying travelling, hiking, and romantic walks at the beach while also cherishing their time together with their cat and having philosophical conversations. From the moment Hannah heard Sophie’s laugh (which was happy and nervous according to her), she knew that she’d found the one. Her soulmate, someone who will love her unconditionally, travels the world with her and makes her laugh with her hilarious stories.

Accommodation: Panorama Terrace

Ceremony: Jackspoint

Couple’s Photos: Coromandel Peak

On the day

Flying over from Canberra, Australia, Sophie and Hannah, together with their family and closest friends headed to Queenstown to celebrate the couple’s elopement. They hired a really cool Airbnb on Panorama Terrace, with views looking over the gorgeous landscape.

The couple started their special day apart, getting their hair and makeup done separately, which was perfect since we were going to do a “First Look”. Hannah’s gorgeous pink-toned and sparkly wedding dress went beautifully with Sophie’s super cool green two-piece suit, which was such a vibe. They both looked so amazing and I’m pretty sure when they first saw each other on the terrace, they fell in love all over again.

We then drove up to Jacks Point, where the team had set up an arch with florals and a rug, which was absolutely stunning. After a beautiful ceremony with Jewish Elements, the couple stomped on a little glass bowl, a Jewish tradition that commemorated the fall of Jerusalem and the temples that once stood there. We took a couple of family photos before we flew to Coromandel Peak with Sophie and Hannah together with two of their best friends. There was a little bit of snow, which I never encountered before, but it made the peak even more magical. After capturing all the amazing mountainous views, the couple popped champagne, which was a great way to end such a heartwarmingly special day.

Mazel tov to the newlyweds!
