Katie & Nathan
“The Adventure Package”

Love Story
When you’ve spent years building a life together, sometimes the most meaningful way to celebrate your love isn’t with a grand event, it’s with something beautifully simple, just for you (and maybe a few surprises along the way).
For katie and Nathan, eloping in Queenstown was the perfect way to mark their next chapter. Together for years and parents to two gorgeous boys, they decided to trade the chaos of a big wedding for an intimate celebration surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The best part? Their boys have no idea.
Why They Chose to Elope in Queenstown
For Katie and Nathan the decision was simple. “We hate huge crowds”.
Queenstown’s stunning alpine scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and endless opportunities for adventure made it the perfect backdrop for a stress-free elopement. Whether it’s a lakeside ceremony at Moke Lake, a mountain-top helicopter moment, or a cosy evening by the fire, Queenstown has a way of making even the smallest elopements feel extraordinary.
Katie and Nathan love to travel, explore new places, and be spontaneous. They love spending time together as a family, whether that’s working on the house or heading out for a weekend adventure.

On the day
These two were the definition of laid-back love. Joined by their two beautiful boys, the whole family radiated joy. Every time Bri pointed her camera their way, they lit up with the biggest smiles.
The day started at their hotel, where Katie made a spontaneous decision. Instead of traveling together, she asked to be driven separately so she and Nathan could share their first look right at the ceremony. Nathan arrived first with videography Kaleb & the boys at Jackspoint. Thankfully, after a week of rain, the skies finally cleared. The sun came out, the lake was still, and it was a golden afternoon that felt almost too perfect to be real. Katie and Nathan’s ceremony setup was beautifully simple, with two pink and red floral plinths that popped against the mountain backdrop. After the “I dos,” they hopped into Molly the classic white Mustang for photos.
After their ceremony, the family headed to Heliworks for a flight up to The Remarkables, and it couldn’t have been more fun. They found a little patch of snow, and within seconds, it turned into a full-on snowball fight. The boys were laughing, running around, and throwing snow while Katie and Nathan watched on.
Even with a bit of wind up top, the light was stunning, and Bri captured it all! The veil catching in the breeze, the mountain glow, the quiet in-between moments that make a day like this unforgettable.
Their day was part of our Adventure Elopement Package, with add-ons of ceremony florals, wedding car & Videographer Kaleb as their content creator add-on to capture every moment, from snowball fights to sunset.
If you’ve ever dreamed of saying “I do” surrounded by the Southern Alps, whether it’s just the two of you or your whole crew, Queenstown is the perfect place to do it.
