Love Story

Catherine and Adam met in TAFE (Technical and Further Education) waaaay back in 2006. They were inseparable ever since Adam sat next to Catherine in one of the lectures they attended, but after dating for a while the two decided to split. They remained close friends though, despite their relationship not working out the first time around, and Catherine knew deep in her heart that one day, they would find their way back to each other. Fate really was on Catherine’s side when Adam moved to Bon Beach in 2017 & they made it official. Now they enjoy travelling, camping, and caravaning as a family, together with their two kids Lulu and Melo.

We always love an adventurous family!

Accommodation: Airbnb in Jackspoint

Ceremony: Moke Lake

Couple’s Photos: Bob’s Cove

On the day

I met Catherine where she was getting ready with her daughter at an amazing Airbnb they rented at Jackspoint. Together with her best friend, they were getting their hair and makeup done so I had the opportunity to capture those moments with just the girls. Murray Stirling then pulled up with his amazing 1965 Ford Mustang convertible called Molly, to pick up the girls and drive to their intimate wedding in Moke Lake (a super cool way to arrive in style at your wedding!).

When we arrived at the lake, all of the guests were already there. Chairs from Hailey’s Hire were all lined up and ready for the ceremony, leaving a little aisle for Catherine to walk down with her adorable daughter. Adam was waiting on the other end of that aisle, with his brown suit and trainers together with Andrew Bell, their celebrant. It was a beautiful warm and sunny day by the lake, so of course the ceremony was also beautiful.

After the ceremony, we then got the chance to photograph the couple with the awesome car Molly, as well as the whole family in a field in Moke Lake, before I drove the couple to Bob’s Cove. We walked around the track to the jetty for a total contrast with the turquoise water to pop some champagne and capture more memories with the newlyweds!
